For Flushing Town Hall "Call and Response" Fence Exhibit February 2021 -- Year of the Ox.

The Bison, aka "American Buffalo " is one of the largest species of oxen (cattle) and embodies tenacity (resolve & resilience) in the face of adversity, having become nearly extinct over a century ago. Due to the efforts of dedicated conservationists, their population has somewhat rebounded. The image here is a detail from a mural that I painted in late 2019 . I titled the mural (painted on my bedroom closet) "Wyoming depicting where the Rocky Mountains meet the Great Plains (prairies) of the interior United States (& Canada) .I supposed I could title this panel "Where the Buffalo Roam..." , or " 'HERD' Enough ? "
